We’re proud to announce that TreadTracker has signed an extension to continue as the principal home shirt sponsor of Blackpool Football Club. Following a successful season both on and off the pitch, the renewed partnership reflects a shared ambition for growth, innovation and continued success.
Since the original partnership was announced, TreadTracker has been acquired by Direct Tyre Management (DTM), with Leigh Goodland and the DTM team now taking the TreadTracker platform forward.

A Year of Growth and Innovation
The past year has been one of significant progress for TreadTracker.
During 2024/25, development continued on the next generation of the TreadTracker platform, introducing powerful new features, an improved user experience and expanded capabilities for tyre professionals and commercial fleet operators across the UK.
Now part of Direct Tyre Management, TreadTracker benefits from DTM’s extensive experience within commercial tyre and fleet management. Under the leadership of Leigh Goodland, the focus remains firmly on developing technology that gives fleet operators greater visibility, more efficient tyre inspections and better operational data.
The continued development of TreadTracker represents an important part of DTM’s wider approach to combining practical fleet expertise with innovative digital technology.

On-the-Pitch Progress
On the pitch, Blackpool FC showed determination and quality under the leadership of Head Coach Steve Bruce.
With a solid foundation established over the previous 12 months, the team headed into the 2025/26 season with renewed focus and belief. Promising performances, emerging talent and a growing connection with supporters provided plenty of reasons for optimism around Bloomfield Road.
Continuing the Partnership with TreadTracker
The extension of TreadTracker’s principal home shirt sponsorship strengthened an already successful relationship with Blackpool Football Club.
Following the acquisition of TreadTracker by DTM, Leigh Goodland and the wider team remain committed to building on that relationship and supporting the continued growth of the TreadTracker brand.
Blackpool FC sits at the heart of the local community, making the partnership particularly significant for a business that continues to maintain strong roots in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.
The sponsorship also provides an important national platform for TreadTracker, increasing awareness of the technology among commercial vehicle fleets, tyre professionals and businesses throughout the UK.
Statement from Martin Booker, Head of Sponsorship
At the time the sponsorship extension was announced, Martin Booker, Head of Sponsorship and Partnerships at Blackpool FC, welcomed TreadTracker’s continued commitment as Principal Sponsor.
The first season of the partnership generated significant exposure for the TreadTracker brand across television, digital media and other channels, helping introduce the business to audiences throughout the UK and internationally.
The Club also highlighted the importance of businesses investing in Blackpool FC and the confidence that successful commercial partnerships such as TreadTracker can provide to other organisations considering working with the Club.
The renewed sponsorship also enabled Blackpool FC to launch its new home shirt earlier, giving supporters the opportunity to wear the new kit throughout the summer ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Supporting the Community
Community engagement has always been an important part of the relationship between TreadTracker and Blackpool FC.
As part of the partnership, TreadTracker proudly donated matchday tickets to local charities and community organisations for every home game, helping more people experience matchdays at Bloomfield Road.
That commitment to the local community continues as TreadTracker enters its next chapter as part of Direct Tyre Management.
With Leigh Goodland and the DTM team taking the business forward, TreadTracker will continue looking for opportunities to support local initiatives while growing the platform and its presence within the UK fleet sector.

A Shared Journey Ahead
TreadTracker’s sponsorship of Blackpool Football Club has always represented more than simply a logo on a shirt.
The partnership brings together shared values around ambition, innovation, community and continued development, while providing TreadTracker with a high-profile platform to showcase its technology.
Now backed by Direct Tyre Management, TreadTracker enters the next stage of its journey with additional industry experience and resources behind the platform.
Under the leadership of Leigh Goodland, DTM will continue developing TreadTracker as a practical technology solution for commercial fleets, helping businesses improve tyre inspections, compliance, defect reporting and fleet visibility.
The relationship with Blackpool FC remains an important part of the TreadTracker story and its connection with the area in which the business was established.
Here’s to the next chapter—on the road and on the pitch.
