Blackpool FC’s principal first-team home shirt sponsor, Treadtracker, has announced it will provide free coach travelfor Seasiders season ticket holders travelling to the club’s FA Cup Third Round tie away at Ipswich Town on Saturday 10 January, subject to availability.
The initiative is designed to support both the team and supporters during a demanding period of the season, ensuring as many fans as possible can get behind the players on the road.
Supporting the Club and the Fans
Treadtracker owner Steve Richardson explained the motivation behind the offer:
“Under head coach Ian Evatt the club is moving in the right direction, and as Ian and the coaching staff said, we can play our part as supporters — something we clearly saw against Wigan at the weekend.
This time of year is never easy on personal finances, and an FA Cup tie away at Ipswich couldn’t have been much further or added more cost for our loyal supporters. At Treadtracker, we wanted to show our support for the new head coach and the fans by offering free coach travel to Blackpool supporters.”
With the FA Cup providing one of the highlights of the football calendar, the club and its sponsors are keen to ensure that backing from the stands remains strong, even for long-distance away fixtures.
